Hey guys, we have our American made bumper on the truck now. We have decided to only offer it as bare steel. Obviously we can keep the price down if it's not painted or powdercoated, then you can do it locally and get whatever finish you want on it. It would look great color-matched to your truck too. This one is powder coated with a semi-gloss black finish. It cost $200 to have it powder coated, but we don't want to offer that service due to the extra packaging costs that would be required to protect the bumper from scratches during shipping.

Winch is mounted and tucked as much as possible. It can handle a 9500 LB winch with remote solenoid box, preferably with wireless remote (like the Dobinsons winch) so that you don't have to get all the way in there to plug it in each time.

Control box mounting is left to the customer, due to variances between winch brands, and the bumper is too thin to mount it on top. We put it behind and up above the winch for now, with the outlet tucked in near the fairlead. There is a lot of room behind the bumper where you could mount it.

Winch clutch lever is accessed by opening the hood. This was the best way for us to handle this, as opposed to adding a large hole to reach through the front or underside of the bumper. Also, if you do get stuck in the mud, the bottom of the bumper will most likely be buried, but you'll be able to reach it down through hood quite easily.

LED fog lights and LED turn signals and running lights will come with it. 20" single row or double row can be installed in the front, but it will come with a mesh grille in that hole if you choose not to install any light bar, maintaining air flow to the truck too.

Bracket system has height adjustment to set the gap to the fenders (you can raise or lower the bumper during installation). Gap needs to be set to a minimum of 3/8" for chassis and body flex.

Final weight of raw bumper on the scale without lights or any accessories is 119 LBS.

    Thanks man!!

Sorry about all the logos. I hate it when someone post a pic of a bumper and everyone asks "where's it from" or "who makes it", so if these get shared, we wanted to avoid that. Plus, we didn't have our logo sticker on the front yet!! haha

I thought putting the logo there was a great idea! Didn't hide any of the bumper with it! Any plans to make 2nd armor??

Looks like a knockoff of the CBI bumper IMO

We definitely needed space for the lights on top. We didn't give enough room for the winch control box though on top, unless we do like a custom mount for it. We considering changing that, but since there's a lot of room behind the grille to mount the control box, we won't be changing it. Plus, if you're stuck, you're probably in mud, so accessing the control box or clutch handle from up top will be a hell of a lot easier than going from underneath it.

And of course, more room away from the grille gives more frontal protection from fender benders.

Here's a photo of the top of the bumper, showing the clearance from the grille.

    Thanks man.

We could, a good friend is close by with a 2nd gen, so we could see what it would take to have this design made for it. It will be a while before we can get to that though. We have a snorkel coming for the 2nd gen though....

Well I might be interested in that snorkel a long with a bumper when the time comes! But keep on making some badass 3rd gen products for us to drool over :)

Love it. Super clean and simple. Not over done like the one the person above mentioned. That was a very relentless comment by the way. I kid I kid... Amazingly large aftermarket support grows the community in turn creating more work for the fabricators. keep up the good work all of you fabricators! Not much I have disliked for these trucks!

First one I've seen other than a slimline that I would actually consider buying. Can you use a high lift jack on the winch opening? It's nice to have a good looking bumper but every good bumper needs a spot to jack from.

Thanks man. Yeah we were discussing that on Friday. We would either recommend jacking from the tow points, or we can add openings right next to those to slide the hi-lift into. I think we will add the holes in them. The 4Runner bumper we made has hi-lift jack holes but no tow points, haha, so everyone wants both. We'll get it done.

Excellent, hopefully the holes will be wide enough to allow kicking the truck over sideways while it's still on the jack.

What is the current diameter for the fog light holes? It would be nice to retrofit the factory fog lights.
