I'm proud to say I'm a brand new owner of a 2017 silversky TRD OFFROAD 4X4 DCSB. Now my next move is to change the oem wheels and tires. Any suggestions on what brand/setup do you guys recommend? Also I must add I never had an off road vehicle before I've had my 2nd Gen TRD sport 4x2 for 3 years but I traded it for tbis beautiful 3rd gen. I do alot of city driving but will be hitting the trails and canyons on weekends. Any suggestions will be awesome if you have a picture of your 3rd gen that'll be great. Thanks!

can't complete the bro package without some FN FX pro rims bro.
    lol
sorry dude there's like 5 threads going on this right now.

Depends how rough the trails are that you plan on going on.
The Cooper discoverer AT3 have great reviews for on road and are decent off road from what I've heard. All depends what the trails are.
I personally am taking delivery of my 2017 in January so I'll be putting my snows on the OEM rims then for spring I'll be going with Konig six shooter 17x8 rims, not sure on size yet for tires either 265 70 or 275 70 but I'll be going with Cooper ST Maxx. I had them on my TJ after I had KO2s and they were much better to me than the KO2s so I will be sticking to them and getting them for the taco.

95% of the members on here will say KO2s. then 5% will tell you KO2s suck because we've used KO2s and others and found others to be better.
Really depends what you plan on doing. KO2s are noisy and meh on road, decent off road.

How are the ST Maxx on snow? I've used KO2's before and liked them.

Don't listen to this guy...(j/k Joe's a nice guy just don't get us drunk together lol)
You want some Pitbull PBX. They are a road friendly version of the Pitbull Rockstars. Specifically designed for weekend off roaders. Here is a good video of them. The Jeep has the PBX and the Tundra has the KO2 Bros.

They're whatever. Not much different than the ko2. We get a lot of ice as well where I am so I run a dedicated winter. I'd say in terms of snow they're the same. Both are too hard of a compound in the -35 cold here.

I love it man. I've had it for 9 days now and it puts a smile on my face everytime I take her out..so glad I got the premium and technology plus the JBL package that thing is a very niiice addition to the truck I suggest you get it. I still haven't popped her cherry yet meaning off roading hopefully by next weekend I'll have the set up I want. The color is way better in person almost like a smoked silver it's very nice I just left the dealership I had them apply a protective sealant on the interior of the truck and the exterior paint. It came out silky smooth lol I just hope it won't rain soon for it needs to dry for another 24 hrs and also they installed the PURSUIT security alarm system. Good luck on your truck brotha! keep us updated. I'll post up some pictures when I get a chance.

The paint sealant sounds like a good idea. I have a buddy of mine who owes me a favor who is going to do a ceramic coating to help protect the paint. Unfortunantely that means he needs the truck for three full days so it has time to dry in the garage... have to try and survive without her.
