I ended up buying a 2015 Double Cab 4x4 TRD Sport exactly the way I wanted it for 30k the day before yesterday.

    IMG_0615.jpg

23k Miles, Cerified Bumper to Bumper 7 Year/100,000 mile warranty which includes:
60 Months free tire exchange if they are damaged (nail, blow out etc)
60 Months Wheel repair package for scratches, cracks etc.
75K miles worth of free oil changes

Open diff so I can add and ARB Locker
    V6
    Leather Interior
Cargo Storage rear seats that fold down to make a bench type area
Entune Audio w/o the Nav and speaker package
    Remote start!

So day before yesterday I'm driving all over Texas showing a friend around that's thinking about moving to this area. Last night on the way home I backed into a low cross beam under an overpass at a water hole that's popular in my area (Government Crossing). It was about midnight when it happened, I'm not used to having a backup cam so of course I was using it to clear the pillars backing up and WAM :frusty: I went too far on the last pillar section. It was all idle backing so the damage is not too extensive but I'd say it's bad enough to merit leaking issues depending on how it is repaired. I don't know much about body work stuff but I do know my stomach is in a million knots still today over the incident and the fact that I JUST BOUGHT THIS TRUCK. :annoyed:

Does anyone have any before and after pics of any kind of damage similar to this and possibly know how a good body shop would go about repairing (with the least amount of bondo possible)?

Cut out some cardboard and taped into broke glass area then cut and old tarp up I had and taped it on. Hopefully this will be in the shop by monday or tuesday before I head back to work and hopefully I will have it back by the time I come back in two weeks.

It was a Certified Pre-Owned and the 7 yr/100k warranty is the dealerships base package starting point...From that point you can upgrade to more coverage while sitting down with the finance dept. I could of gotten more coverage if I wanted, the bumper to bumper was an "upgrade" option.

AND yes it sucks really bad....I have tried google searching this kind of damage to see how repairs are usually gone about. I do not want a bondo repair, either replace the panels or find a really good body guy.

When you say "rear posts" what do you mean? Like they will cut out the damage area and weld new sheet metal back in place?

The damaged area next to the rear windows. They will cut all that out. The inner structure will be impossible to straighten

May or may not put a roof skin on it depending on insurance/body shop

Well I have Full Coverage insurance with Farmers...I have been with them for a long time and they have always done right by me. Caliber collision will most likely be the shop I use as I have always had pretty good luck with them as well. I do intend to find out who is in the "Farmers Circle of Dependability" and research the shops a bit so I make sure I find one that will do it right and do it good. One positive of the Circle of Dependability is all work done by the shop is warrantied for the life of the vehicle.

Get some references before picking the body shop that does this... Also, go to different shops and let them tell you how they will fix it, and choose the one that sounds the most comfortable doing the work.

On a brighter positive note......This is the first 4x4 vehicle I have owned and the day of the incident driving all over the place I found a pretty good steep rock hill to test out the 4Lo on....It didn't even roll a rock going up the hill, I was pretty impressed!
