    Sorry for the late reply. I was able to get that nut off and did use heat from a propane torch. It was NOT easy to take that nut off, LOL!!! I used a combination of, PB Blaster, WD-40, propane heat, vise grips, muscle (or lack thereof, LOL), and VULGAR language to get that DAMN thing off!!! I really do think that the vulgar language is what really did the trick??? :crazy::eek::rofl:

    BUT, with that said, that is a tip/trick that I will most definitely remember for now on. That tip/trick is something that will forever stay in memory for me to think about for next time a similiar situation arises!!! Just like me finding out that the combination of auto-tranny fluid and acetone is a nice seized nut/bolt penetrating fluid to use on such things as well, I just didn't have auto-tranny fluid and acetone and really didn't want to drive the truck anymore than necessary. Although, looking back, my dumba$$, I could have driven my little civic around to get said items, LOL. :annoyed: I was just in a mad panic to get that damn thing off!!! :goingcrazy: Anyways, thank you very much for that tip/trick.

    Another "quick" (LOL, the wall of Randy) example:
    It's like when I always tell people about putting petroleum jelly (Vaseline) on their car battery posts to avoid "fuzzies" forming around the posts!!! (NOTE: please refrain from the jokes for now, LOL... I want to pass along a very valuable tip that most people simply don't know about and ALL have had experiences with batt post corrossion, which is a VERY BAD THING in more ways than most people realize... and the candle wax tip is also a very valuable tip/trick for ALL to know... as well as the combo mix of auto-tranny/acetone and thanks to @digitaLbraVo Denny for that tip... "knowledge is POWER" people). Anyways, the petroleum jelly looks like kcrap when you first goop it on to the batt posts and surrounding cables/wires, but the engine bay heat will "melt" the Vaseline and it develops a very smooth looking "coating". Do this, and you NEVER, EVER, have to worry about the "fuzzies"/corrossion!!! Something I learned from a mechanic a very, VERY LONG time ago!!! Do NOT waste your money on those dumba$$ battery post pads that they sell!!! Btw, you ONLY have to apply once and forget!!! Unless you wash your engine bay fairly often and clean you may or may not have to re-apply? Just simply look and judge if you need to re-apply. Other than that, just leave it alone!!! I have about a 5yr old battery (know... I am getting ready to replace it) that I did this to years ago when I first got the truck and it is still very "clean" looking on the battery posts, if you get my meaning. I do this to ALL of my car batt posts and have done this for +20yrs of my driving experience and working on my own DIY car maintenance.

    NOTE: if your car battery posts already have corrossion building up, clean with Arm&Hammer baking soda mixed with warm/hot water and pour over the posts UNTIL the "foaming" stops. Let the battery terminals "dry" and then apply the petroleum jelly.
