Entune controls are dim

I just bought a 2017 Tacoma TRD Sport with premium Entune. The touchscreen controls along the side of the premium Entune screen (Home, Apps, etc) are so dim I can barely see them during the day. I have adjusted the settings on the main display for 'Daytime Mode' and the main display is fine. Just having problems configuring the touchscreen side controls. Ideas?

 

Turn off your headlights.

You can also dim all the LED lighting on the dash including the display and buttons with the Trip reset button. Turn it left or right ( it will click) to adjust dim or bright.
