I just got done applying Fluid Film to anything and everything metal. It wasn't as messy as I'd expected.

This is my first NEW Toyota but I've owned enough older ones to know what happens when you aren't proactive with rust prevention.

I'll do the wife's 4Runner next weekend. I'm not looking forward to that one.

Blacked out the inner Grille section to Satin Black! Will this be enough to keep me from going Pro??!! FullSizeRender 2.jpgFullSizeRender.jpg
Note: Videos show only Tabs holding the Outer Chrome trim ring in place. On my 2017 TRD OR there were 8 small screws in addition to about 12 Tabs holding it on. All in all it took me about an hour and a half from start to finish. Most of the time was waiting between coats and final dry time before reinstalling. I didn't remove the inner trim. I just taped off the bezel to avoid breaking any tabs. Piece of cake!

Well I guess as long as the paint sticks I'll be good to go! I used Rustoleum Universal Satin Black paint. Should hold up well but we'll see!
Thinking of adding a TRD emblem like this one. This is the truck that gave me the idea to paint just the inside Grille. I like this combination.

I picked up these for 50$ from Academy on clearance. Now I need some brackets to mount them! Any recommendations that don't cost more then the light themselves?

Whelp.. Saying goodbye is never easy.. Lol I'm trading in my 2016 Black TRD sport 4x2 today.. but it makes it a lot easier when I'm getting a Quicksand Tan 4x4 to take its spot hahaha. Can't wait to start modding the new truck
