Good strategy from the 18, 19, 20. Fluke for the 11. They have 50% of the final 8 and a great statistical shot at the remaining tracks. Busch and Hamlin are great Martinsville. Harvick owns Phoenix. Busch and Harvick have proven themselves at Homestead. You can ever count Carl out. I think we'll have a much better view of the final four after Martinsville.

In hindsight, I wonder if it was Kurt Busch using Harvick's mind games technique to rattle his cage.

The Martinsville crowd is just dismal, so sad for such an iconic track!!!
Are there sections of seats shrink-wrapped off? If that's the case sad x 2. This is one of my bucket list tracks. I hope it can cont. to support a SC race far into the future!

That's surprising. It was packed in April. My guess is no Jr. In the Chase, no butts in the seats.

I don't know about you guys but I'm looking forward to Trump getting that wall he wants so bad this weekend. Will be nice to see him lose twice in one week's span as well. Like Holy Crap, after so much crap about NAFTA, Trump put his name on a Toyota. Best Jalopnik quote:
“This is the best car. Absolutely the best. You’ve never seen a better car. And passing—it passes better than anything you’ve ever seen.....in the history of passing, nothing is better. Nothing.”

“Um, it’s not American and it’s in 39th place.”

    “This car will defeat ISIS.”

Holy crap everyone's cars are going to crap after 20 laps! Logano and Dillon are rocketships! Incredible passing farther back between Blaney & Bowman. Their cars went to crap in the turns so quick. Everyone is going high, there's NO groove, and they're bottoming out hard on that turn 1/2 transition bump.

Green track eating these tires up, should start seeing some good racing in about 30-40 more laps as rubber gets laid down. Everyone fighting loose in and off and only going to get worse with rubber being put into the track.

I haven't seen cars wiggle this much since the bias ply tire days. I LOVE IT, but I bet the drivers hate it. I wish Mike Skinner was still around in NASCAR. He could wheel bias ply rubbered cars around tracks just fine. It's why Earnhardt liked him so much. Radial tires ruined Skinner's career trajectory.

I swear, these guys are gonna wad up the entire field in T1 before the night is done. Good hard racing happening at the back of the lead lap cars.

Alex Bowman should be in the 14 car next year, not Clint Bowyer. Somebody needs to pick him up. Heck, at least put him in the 10.
