Finally moved the CB to the ash tray location. I'm not a big fan of how I secured it but I was in a rush and I think it will be sufficient. Also replaced the tip and cap on my firestik that I lost and bent at the meet in February.

Also have a set of hella sharptone horns coming in tomorrow. The horn on my truck never worked so I decided to replace it with a high quality and loud set of horns.

Noticed my slave cylinder was starting to leak slightly so I needed to get that replaced. My buddy convinced me to replace the clutch master cylinder while I was out it and I'm glad I did. The old fluid was disgusting and the bottom of the reservoir there was some nasty sludge stuff. Replaced both parts and blew out the line of all old fluid. Clutch pedal feels better but noticed the return spring on the pedal was missing. I've still got to source one.

Some flex pics from the other day. Finally measuring for rear bump stops and checking to see what coilover adjustments need to be made

I was admiring these pictures again and something occurred to me. The tire looks kinda close to the lower front corner of the fender. Seems like if you had it stuffed like that and turned the wheels (to the left in this case) the tire would be eating the fender. Might need to zip that corner off, unless I'm mistaken.

Myself and Josh talked about this actually. When we previously flexed it, the tires were hitting the bumper so I ended up cutting off about 2" to clear the tires. This is the first time I've really flexed it since then and noticed the potential of rubbing. I think I'm gonna run it how it is though. The tire will probably just barely kiss the fender

Aight. :D I think I might want to flex it out (maybe the opposite way so you could see it from the driver's seat) and turn the wheel to see how big a bite it will take, but if you're comfortable with it, that's all that counts. You're probably right though if you haven't had any contact yet.

Few things I will be looking to do/upgrade hopefully soon... it appears the driver inner fender well collapsed during the last wheeling trip, which was somewhat expected and a known problem. Because of how much I trimmed for the steering box it significantly weakened where the battery sits and it finally collapsed. The battery was barely secured by the hold down bar and was sliding toward the engine. I will have to figure out some sort of support for that area.

    -battery/inner fender support
    -engine cage/Coilover hoop support bar
    -atlas 4 transfer case
-modify rear 63s for smoother performance
-tie down hooks in bed (I've had them for a while, just been lazy)
    -suspension seats

Question: before it collapsed, would it have been possible to weld in something like an 1/8 doubler plate around where you cut out to reinforce the area? Or would it require more engineering that that?

That would have just been a pain to do really. I cut a lot away so in reality there isn't much to weld to anyway. I'm just going to build a support that comes off the coilover hoop that has a 6"x6" plate or so directly under where the battery is. It'll be easier to understand once I do it and post a pic lol

Battery support done. It's overkill, but that's fine
