I need to do the chalk test. They're at 35 right now but I've tried 30 and 40 with no change in the bump steer.

I don't even know if it's "bump steer",I can feel road imperfections in the steering wheel and the steering wheel moves side to side over bumps but the truck doesn't dart to one side or the other.

I have the exact same problem with 6112 third notch LR UCA's and ICON AAL 5160 in rear.
Settings are Caster: Driver 2.9 Pass 2.8 Camber: Driver .5 degree Pass .2 degree Toe: Driver 0 Pass 0
What about the drivers differential bearing does it do it in 4 wheel drive? I was thinking the front diff. drivers side CV axle bearing and it is vibration from over bumps and it is not bump steer?

It is the same in 4wd, I'm really thinking it's the tires, almost like they're bouncing or deforming slightly? I have no clue.

For a wild hair you might try swapping your front tires, right to left, left to right. If a tire is defective that will change the steering.

Any other suggestions? The bump steer is only apparent at slower speeds, like 30mph and below.

I'm going to try the ECGS bushing on mine next its around 45-55 I feel bump steer and steering wheel shake.
Its real minor but its the only thing I could complain about I love the suspension otherwise.

So I just looked at my tie rods and the drivers side is showing about 10 threads while the passenger side is showing about 3 can this cause bump steer?

Did you ever get it realigned? From what you describe sounds exactly like a caster issue.

My steering isn't loose at all, I just feel everything through the steering wheel and bumps turn my steering wheel towards the side the bump is on.

I've read this actually helps quite a bit for people who have play in, or people who hear/feel a clunk noise in their steering wheel.

I have the same size and brand tires and don't have this issue. Does your truck still want to swerve all over the highway, or does it track straight with ease?

I have battled the same conditions you describe for quite some time. I feel like I have play in the steering on the highway, but on jackstands everything is rock solid.

The only thing I have found that sometimes had an effect on it was tightening the backlash of the teeth in the power steering rack, where the steering shaft goes into the power steering rack. I have suspected it to be the rack moving on it's bushings. I have replaced bushings, torqued them properly, and not eliminated the feeling.

I'm beginning to think it's the tires. Going to go with a different brand next time and see if that helps it out.
