Weekly Photography Challenge Thread

I didn't win? Sheesh, I thought my dish towel would clean up.

 

Good week guys, good week.

 

This isn't my every day. But it is my every summer weekend. This will likely be the last time this season seeing this view as the highways close with snow

 

Just about everyday for me.

 

So what time zone is the cutoff ? lol.. I am pacific and just got back from work... here is my entry. I am on the road every day and live and breath trucking. I tried for some other more daily photo's but they didn't turn out as good.

I am a Boat Captain. I spend many days on the water in San Francisco, and the Delta. This is a shot of Belvedere on Friday. Corinthian Yacht Club to the left.

 

Not every day but it has been a regular view the past several months.

 

Side bar. Charter? Tour? Fishing? Whale watching? We need to chat!

Love this shot. Makes me want to get out soon before our mountains get shut down due to snow!

The simplicity of this is so cool. The warmer tone makes me think this was a sunset photo?

I really like the reflection of the sky in the paint. Your photo sums up some aspects of trucker life all in one moment and I really like that: a dude and his truck, a road ahead, late nights and early brisk mornings.

As someone who grew up close to the water I enjoy the nostalgic feeling this photo gives me. Looks like a beautiful area!

Just a touch of a wider view would look really cool! Maybe showing a bit more of the cockpit around you

Thanks!!! And that was a beautiful morning sunrise! I tried to get my work boots under the same sunrise but its very hard to get a good angle without reflection. It is one of the best things about my job as I really get to see and meet a lot of great people.

Pm was sent and hopefully this challenge turns out a lot of great entries. I tried to keep it very open so anyone can participate.

 

Congrats and great entries. Waiting on the next challenge.

 

I ran out of time this week, Mad at myself I didn't get to enter! Can't wait for the new challenge.
