    Questions on this rack -

    1. Completely bolt on, correct? I would like something that I can take a part and put away when not in use.

    2. Can the tent open with the rotopax mounted on there?

    3. Are there any plans to make some sort of bike carrier brackets to mount bikes on the rack sides OR on top (when there is no tent).

Or mounting them on the sides:

    4. How would a hilift mount to the side plates?

I have this rack and I can answer some questions. The rack is all bolt on. It could be removed fairly easily. Either have a helping hand unloading it fully assembled, or take it apart and take out piece by piece.
Depending on what side you mount the tent to open on you should be able to mount rotopax on the non fold down side. I have attached a picture to show how much room is on mine it opens to the passenger side. I plan to get some rotopax cans and hope to mount on drivers side.

Awesome looking rack, and they seem like a great company, local to me!

For Josh, or anyone with this rack, any ideas on how to mount a full-size spare on top? I'm looking for a solution for that reason, and this rack looks like a perfect fit if it could be made to support a spare tire. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Slowly going to migrate things from in bed to rack where possible. Looks like maxtraxx and hilift will stay below for now.

    As usual @Joshp767, great shit.

Glad to see you got the rack! I recently put some stuff on the sides. I couldn't really find a good way to mount my Maxtrax's to it so had to go on the roof rack. Looking forward to seeing what you do to it!

@steveox Thanks for the pictures I am considering this rack. Especially since it can be broken down for storage!

I still would like to know if you can mount bikes on the sides and on top.

I really want this rack, but just a couple inches higher. I deeply value being able to see everything in the rearview.

Actually a couple of inches above the roofline would be a lot better to haul paddle boards, kayaks, surfboards, lumber, and anything that's long and can over the roof.
