    NAME THAT SHELL!

I picked this SNUGTOP up yesterday off CL. It's very nice, but has been neglected and needs some work. I need to figure out what model it is. Any ideas?

When I bought my use snugtop I called them with the serial number from the metal plate inside the shell. They were able to tell me the model and all the options it came from the factory with.

Does anyone own or have pics of a topper without side windows? I just had this pop up in a somewhat close CL post but I can't seem to think a windowless topper will look right (as well as creating an oven for the back of my truck). Still would like to see some pictures and my google searches are coming up dry, thanks! http://miami.craigslist.org/pbc/pts/5831549847.html

I'm honestly surprised how much use I got out of both sides already, and I've only had it a few days. I debated getting one windoor and one slider-only window.

I'll put another vote in the dual-windoors column, love 'em.

Yep I agree. To anyone perusing this thread >>>>GET BOTH sliding WINDOORS<<<< you are going to own the shell for a long time, pay a few extra bucks and just do it.
Sure enough, when I need to grab something from my one windoor, it has slid to the far side. Big mistake only getting one.

I'm a vertically challenged individual, I can't see me reaching that far up.

How tall are you? I'm 5'8" and height isn't an issue at all.

I bought mine used and it came setup the same way as yours. If and when I ever buy a new shell it will have windoors on both sides. 6 months ago I was quoted $249 for a windoor plus the labor to install it from my local camper shell retailer.

5'7" with a tail-wind. I can see reaching into a windoor, but grabbing something that is on the truck bed seems unlikely to me.

Picked this up off craigslist 2 hours from me. ARE CX with headliner, sliding front window and Yakima Whispbar HD roof rack. Very happy with it, it's in amazing condition and only paid 480. Hoping to get it painted soon but for now the silver doesn't bother me too much.

Great deal. The roof rack is almost worth that much.
