I'm a little bummed - I don't do a whole lot of crawling and I really like the look of the TRD skid, but I suppose I do enough off-roading to warrant proper protection.

I do have the AC so it's a little bit lighter, and it's possible that I'll get some settling over time. I don't know if this would affect the height, but I had to cut through one of my end links, so until I get new ones I don't have the sway bar on. I was surprised though because I was expecting 2". I'll make sure to update the thread if anything changes!

It's a little strange you got 3" from the 884's. Most people use 887 to get 3" and then they'll settle to 2.75"

You know what, that's one thing I might have overlooked. I think I just assumed that's how they were going to assemble them. I'll have to check that out! If they're not, can I adjust them without removing or disassembling the coilover? Also, I was under the impression that the settings on the 5100's adjusted ride stiffness more than ride height?

I use my friends kids all the time to clean the inside of my wheels.

I just don't take them off the truck.

I think removal of the coil in necessary to adjust the seat to a different setting

It does both it primarily adjusts height but it does so by preloading the coil which will result in stiffer ride

Painted my rear axle. Didn't really mask, just didn't want it too rusty. It'll look bad again after a few trips to Rausch

Mundane maintenance item today. Greased the drive shaft, all 5 zerks. I had ran out of grease in the gun doing lawn equipment maintenance on Saturday or I would have done this when I rotated the tires.

Thanks! Figured it's the easiest way to lift it without needing new UCAs

There's a shit ton of lift options that don't require UCAs.
