I can think of about $5,000 reasons not to love it. The suspension is nice but the rest of it is basically an appearance package with the same high margin rip off pricing of dealer add ons.

Exactly why I got the Off Road - I don't necessarily like having decisions made for me, I like to make them myself mostly. The locker, on the other hand, was a decision that I liked the TRD engineering making.

It's fucking badass, and all the little bitches that whine about it costing too much wish they had one.

If I'm lucky, I'll get the grille if they become available again. Until then congrats to all those who own one.

No doubt that the TRD PRO is bad ass... and you're right plenty of people on here wouldn't pass to have one but understandably enough the machine is too much money for what it is.. it's a TRD off road with some appearance flair to it. I think it's more cost effective to buy a TRD off road and mod it the way YOU want and not the way Toyota wants; that's just in comparison as to how much more you're paying for the pro, and to use that towards one's off road package instead. Just my two cents.

Whenever I read posts about the pro people always bring up things like oh your just jealous. And you wish you could afford one. I don't think that's the case most people that have a trd either it be an OR,sport,or limited I'm pretty sure if they financed $37-41k that they probably wouldn't have a problem getting financed for the amount the pro is going for. It's just most people choose to not want a $700 truck payment. I'm just guessing on that amount but I'm sure it's pretty close if you finance the full amount. That being said I do like the pro I just ordered the skid plate and shifter. Also waiting on grill to be available again for sale. And for the pro not to have a sunroof for that price is also kinda crazy. If the pro was available when I bought mine I would consider it just for the fact I put a good amount down. But would never finance the full amount for what they are asking. I would step up and get a GMC Sierra Denali if money wasn't a factor.

Nice truck, but $45K for a Tacoma with Fox shocks and Goodyear tires? No JBL and no power seat. Me thinks not. I've got better ways to blow ten grand. 401K, or strippers and cocaine? Can't decide.
