Ive generally always had apple phones. Decided to give samsung a try once. Never again. Worst phone Ive ever had. It was like giving up my reliable toyota to drive a problematic chrysler. Back with an iphone 6S.

I went the opposite direction. My first smart phone was an Android, and it was the buggiest damn thing ever. Switched to IPhone and I will never go back. They seriously just always work.

Had iPhones since the 3. Switched earlier this year to project fi and had the nexus 5x loved the phone but I got dumped in my kayak and lost it at the bottom of the bay. The note 7 just came out at that time and I always wanted the note so I switched back to att. Well since the recall I turned it in and couldn't justify the $800 price tag for an s7 edge so I went back to Project Fi and got the Nexus 6P and I'd have to say it's a pretty great phone for half the price. Plus I only pay ~$35 a month on project fi and I can use it in every country without extra charges

I turned my note 7 replacement in yesterday at ATT, they gave me a refund. I had already bought a like new note 3 on Ebay, it will tide me over till i find something better down the road.

While not water PROOF, it is IP53, water RESISTANT. So while you can't drop it in the toilet and expect it to survive, it CAN withstand being used in a downpour, or technically, a shower.

Wife got stuck in the Note 7 fiasco. Really too bad, it's an awesome and she hates to have to give it up. We've got a Note 5 with the business and it has been flawless for the last year since it was released. We both had Iphone 6's, then she upgraded to the 6S+ before the Note 7. She loved the Note7 so much more than the iphone that she tried out a few Iphone7 + at Bestbuy but it still wasnt doing it for her, and definitely not for me. Pre-ordered the Pixel XL, set to deliver today so hopefully it'll fill the void of her Note7 having to get sent back. Appears to be a nice phone, and a good camera which was high on her priority list when choosing. Also same physical dimensions of the Note7, and smaller than the chunky Iphone7+'s with their fat bezels

This happens OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
You just HAD to pick a samsuck.
Speaking AS an Android user, I have owned one samsuck device, and WILL NEVER AGAIN. They are complete GARBAGE. They absolutely butcher the UI, performance, and stability.

    Except when they don't.

    You know, things like http://www.extremetech.com/mobile/2...uld-really-prefer-you-just-bought-an-iphone-7

    Oh, also this; http://www.dailydot.com/debug/what-is-error-53-iphone/

    How about this one?
    http://bgr.com/2016/10/20/iphone-7-exploding-car-fire/
Wait, you mean it isn't only samsuck that is exploding?
    Nope... apple INVENTED the exploding phone;
    http://www.phonearena.com/news/iPho...ng-charging-with-the-original-charger_id86356

Apple phones have been exploding for years, but they cover it up, and apple fans are happy to put on the blinders.

I'm still using a Note 3, and haven't upgraded because I want a bigger screen.

So true and it's the reason I hate Samsung devices. That is why you root and load a custom rom without all the laggy and crap bloatware.

I recently got a Note 7 with what they said is the 'better and safe battery'..... 5 days later they discontinued it.

I still have it and will turn it in soon. I'm not sure what I'll replace it with.

I just got my iPhone 7 plus and I loved it compared to my s6. They both have theirs pros or cons but at the end of the day, I'm happy with apple products.

    Get a GOOGLE PIXEL XL.
It is 1000 times better of a phone than that note 7.
NOTHING comes close to it right now except the Google Pixel (non-XL) and the difference is strictly a matter of size preference since they are otherwise the same. Well, size and battery, but the bigger battery will get eaten down faster by the bigger screen.
