Alright, I'll try to get to it this weekend. If you want remind me and I'll hook it up. Sounds easy enough.

2 gallons of 30/70 washer fluid is $4.
2 gallons of 50/50 home brew is $4.
I'm spending the same amount and using almost half the fluid.

Hey man any word on those maps? Also have you ever considered e85? You can set it to a switch on the fic and I think your pump and injectors are more than big enough.

No man, I havent. Not sure what good e85 would do. Plus I inject methanol.......I've heard it can melt your lines too if your not set up for it but I dunno.

Drops your IAT a good deal and has higher octane. You can make quite a bit more power with a forced induction system on ethanol. It's common knowledge that a turbo makes power because it's pushing more air though the intake. But more accurately it's increasing oxygen density, having a colder charge has the same effect. You can run a much leaner mix at high load as well and further advance timing safely.

The only concrete thing I've read of first hand experience with ethanols corrosiveness was where a guys lines finally sprung a leak after 10 years of running straight ethanol. It's hard to find good data about it because it's so controversial. I think there is definitely something to be said though that you need a proper fueling system that is tolerant of pure ethanol. I think running it intermittently you would never see any issues but I also think as soon as you feel the gains from it you'll be running it more often than not. Think it has a reputation of clogging filters as well.

Meth does the same thing just not as aggressive if you run a 50/50 water mix. Not sure how aggressive his tune is right now, but probably won't pick up much more power running both.

You can certainly run both and see huge gains from both.

    o_O............

I'm pretty good where I'm at. I'm making 310whp and the truck moves pretty damn good with 35s and 4.88s. It's definitely not a highway vehicle anymore. I'd like to get more power and I'm sure I could if I had better tuning knowledge. I'm just booked up with a lot of stuff that takes more priority for me right now. Plus I need bumpers and to put my light bar on first. DAMN I need bumpers bad!

I had planned to go e85 right off the bat but now I'm not certain because it'll probably be too much power for the motor to even handle. I got huge injectors accordingly and they were a total PITA to tune on gas. After finally figuring out my tune I can see why people say not to even mess with this engine for higher hp, the ecm is a total bitch and hates being tampered with. The fuel map I have now which effectively zeros my trims at all loads is the exact opposite of what you would logically predict it to be. But like you say, thing fucking boogies :burnrubber:.

Are you going to fab your own bumpers? Your truck would look nasty with a big stinger off the front. Are you going to try and fit around the IC or just move it? I've always wondered how much the turbo IC would affect the radiator if it's sitting right in front of it. I kind of like the way mine looks where it sits now though :notsure:

Fabbin up a bumper isn't that hard. Especially if you have 3/8" steel plates laying around

It can't control injector pulse width though.
