2014 TRD Sport with 15k. It popped last year and quit as soon as it got warm, now that it's cold again, here we go again.

I had the dealer check the bed bolts and I had him check the weight in the seat belt column on the passenger side. Neither thing made any difference and it goes away as soon as it get warm. A rough road, especially our road at camp, just pops away.

Anyone else figure this out yet?

Is the pop inside the cab, or sound like its coming from suspension?

I have an '05, and when it was brand new, I got a knocking noise from inside the cab when it was cold out, and I would hit a harsh bump, like a set of brake bumps before an intersection. I pinpointed it to below 40 degrees outside air. Turned out it was the cab mount bushings. They were replaced via a TSB at the time, and have been quiet ever since.

It is inside the cab, at least it sounds that way. It sounds exactly like fitz235 describes, and knocking may be an even better description.

When it's cold(40 degrees or lower) my rig sounds like it's throwing a rod. Then it warms up and it sounds normal. This worried me the first time I heard it 7 years ago. I'd say it's normal. Some say its a fuel line.........cab bushing..........who knows.
