Nope. They aren't cheap, but it was an easy install. Drilling rivets sucked but you'd have to that with any bump can to remove the stock shit.

Yeah the side rivets were okay but fuck the bottom ones. I paid 540 or so for my icon bumps with brackets, thats why I was surprised they were that much

That's pretty good then. I paid 800 with bumps, the ads are 2.125 cans. Not sure if icons are the same?

Finally an actual build update. Tomorrow going wheeling with some mo4wd guys at moonlight so I figured I would give the truck a once over and see what needs to be done before tomorrow morning. Well everything is in working order so I decided to tackle something thats been put off. I got the bright idea to make a storage platform for the bed, heading to HD and like always walked out with something other than the stuff I went in for. Picked up 50ft of airhose and an assortment of fittings to have a remote quick connect for air.

Ive always wanted it on the front bumper like @MrGrimm but behind the hoop, The fog light was in the way so I just put it close to the hoop as possible. So I kept the quick connect on the Compressor in case my remote line has issues and I can still plug my air hose directly to the compressor. Simply used a air line with a male 1/4 connector into the compressor, ran the line towards the opening by the headlight and under the bumper, cut the line to fit and a barb fitting into the bumper with a quick disconnect on top. Quick and easy, now I don't have to open the hood to connect my airline :D

What a great idea, retaining the original quick diconnect! I actually went out and bought some fittings today after seeing your post on IG. I've also been thinking about doing this since I installed my OBA. I bought a 2way so I can run a line to the rear bumper as well. That one may be a little tougher but I think I can get it down there through the boxed part of the frame. I also bought some 7/8 in (rubber stool foot covers) they fit nice and snug over the top of the disconnect to keep water out.

From a first hand experience. I've had mine run out to the rear bed cubby for some time now. Biggest problem I've encountered is that the unit gets so hot that the added air hose I keep plugged into the compressor became soft from the heat and ended up slipping out of the factory crimp. This left the male still plugged running the compressor and blowing air. I thought I was in big trouble till I took a closer look and saw the senario. Reusing everything still in place, I used two hose clamps to attach the male quick connect back to the air hose and even wrapped the air hose with wire loom to try and protect it from the heat. After a while of it working again the same thing happened. I have yet to fix it for a 3rd time because I plan on using the orange ARB hose this time which seems to have about 4-5" of heavy plastic around the quick connect. The one that failed is just a husky from HD, not even sure any ratings on it. The point of rerouting to the rear was for a clean way to use it without opening the hood. There's def some variables so I'm not saying this will happen to you, but definetly something to consider. Possibly opening the hood anyway would prevent the heat build up or maybe the issue was in my air hose choice. This is my setup

Did you end up cutting off the end and making your own fitting or was the end coming undone the factory side?

Factory. The unit gets pretty hot.. the hose became so warm it slipped out of the factory crimp.

Hmmm, they seem to offer a few options for hoses at lowes, I'll have to look closer to see if any are heat rated. thanks for the info!

The 7/8 are the ones I have now but slightly too large, 3/4 would probably be better.

Yeah I'm not sure how long it will last but worst case I can just open the hood and plug in the hose directly to the compressor how I've always been doing it. Thanks for the heads up, hopefully it lasts
