    Ya I'm far enough from the river I didn't have any issues. Things are slowly but surely returning to a more "normal" state. Just sad to think it will be several hundred years from now for most of the beautiful cypress trees to come back, that's what really blows my mind.

    Frustrating, first thing I'd do is start swapping out parts one at a time. Antenna cable tends to be least expensive part so I usually start there.

    I have a bad feeling it is the antenna itself actually, when I did my research it seemed like a lot of people had issues getting the "Wilson" dialed in.

    Very well might be. It worked fine for me as-is, so I'm just gonna roll with it for now. It'll eventually be replaced by something shorter... don't really need such a big antenna for how I use it :p

    Get a 4ft whip, its just enough to get over the cab and you have less components to fail,like the spring.
