Those should be illegal to make and sell.

I have seen women do make up, I even saw a guy working on a crossword puzzle in the paper. One time I was teaching my daughter to drive and came across a lady swerving. We thought she was drunk, got clear enough to pass, she was eating a hamburger and had a drink in the other hand. She got reported, not sure if they got her or not, didn't want to stick around.

TW confessional time. I was okay because I couldn't see the screen, but I don't recommend anyone else doing this.

While being the designated driver for a bachelor party, I allowed my friends to "pre game" on the way to the strip club on our in-van VCR. The screen could only be seen from directly behind us, but I was getting pissed off when all these tailgaters kept creeping up on me for whatever they were watching.

It was "of an adult nature" - but it sounded pretty nasty over the speakers.

I'm pretty sure a Civic missed his highway exit during a particularly nasty scene.

Never again. Don't be dumb like me and my friends, kids.

Years ago I was at a big car show and during a cruise through dowmtiwn a couple of guys pulled up in a tricked out old school Impala. The passenger had the visor facing out towards the window and the crowd and it had a TV screen in it playing a video of adult nature. LMAO....

The one I saw was definitely not OEM. I am guessing it was a portable. Worst of all it was low on center console and angled towards the driver.

The hell are you talking about?
The people who SHOULD NOT have guns... i.e. STREET THUGS, STILL HAVE THEM.
Gun control does not work here (CANADA).

Oh look... THREE SEPARATE (unrelated) newsmakers in the last WEEK.

Screw you if you think that gun controls work.

but the problem is that good people are losing their ability to protect themselves and the bad people are aware of this weakness.

In Canada, just to own a HUNTING RIFLE, you need to be signed up to the "automatic suspect in local gun homicide" list.
So I switched to a BOW, which is just as deadly.

diesel fuel and ammonium nitrate will and can make one of the best explosives, just ask McVey. Both are very easily purchased.

Do you need to know, or care?
Distracted driving isn't going away, it's going to get much worse. As we develop new ways to communicate, watch media, create new apps, and use portable devices in ways we haven't even thought of yet, people will be drawn to their devices much more frequently than now. Consequently, we've had to develop safety features in vehicles that allow them to brake on their own when detecting obstacles, lane change departure warnings, driverless cars, and a myriad of safety features.. Why? Because people don't want to pay attention to the road when a beep is heard from their phone. It's sad, and we can bitch about it all we want, but you can't avoid it from happening unless you take the human out of the equation.

Gun control means hitting your target.

Keeping guns out of the hands of people intent on harming others, while retaining the ability for people to have them for self defense is a different matter.

We have some kids on trial here now for killing a woman who was hiding in her closet with 911 on the phone as they were robbing her house. Story would have been very different had she been armed.

I just read a story where a man in Georgia shot and killed an intruder with the intruder's gun after a struggle. No charges pressed on the home owner.

Right, Canada. This aspect of this discussion started from the guy who said he liked how gun control works *in Canada*.

In many respects, I wish that Canada was more like the US. Do that here and you (the home owner) gets convicted of first degree murder.

Yeah, when it's clear self defense they don't charge. Shoot the guy in the back as he's running away and you'll likely be charged. As you should be.

Agreed. I'd wait until mid April at least.
