I fourth or tenth the +1 motion for 5100's!! I have had mine on for more than six years now and they have been great! I am only running them at 1.75", but plan to bump them up to 2.5" in the very near future.

5100's paired with a decent AAL, IMO, is hands down the best, most economical way to lift these trucks for every day casual offloading (hunting, fishing, camping, etc)

I am only into my lift about $400 total. Back in the day I picked my 5100's up for around $300 for the set of four and paired them with a toytec 2" AAL for $80ish, and it has been awesome! Really can't say enough good things about them!

best answer is call marie at headstrong and tell her what you want and she can give you a good breakdown on price putting a package together to do what you want. is it the end all be all for a suspension setup NO does it ride great and give good performance imo yes. there have been a coup[le of tw members here who were interested so I let them drive my truck and they were very pleased. there are other benefits and I'm sure some negatives compared to other systems but it works for me and meets my needs. one of the key things to remember is to pair your 5100 struts with some quality coils and let the coils actually do the lifting so you leave your struts either set at 0 or the .85 setting to reap the most benefit out of your suspension.

Took the family out to Moonlight Racing off-road park near Sullivan, Missouri this weekend so my wife could wheel her bone stock 4Runner at the Mo4wd.com "stocker no locker" event. Camping was nice other than the regular braaap nation stuff. The Trail Premium 4Runner definitely made it easy for her, push a couple of buttons and sit there and steer. I stayed out of the way and let others guide her but it looked like she remembered allot of what I had explained and showed her from all the times she's been out riding with me.

Finally after too much time got her fixed. A little grinding a little body work a new tailgate ridge cap from Voodoo and a little taping and painting has it looking much better.

I recommend a peek at my DCSB build. Same bed dimensions, and if you've got precise enough tools, it's quite easy.

I was having some trouble seeing while backing up with the tinted windows (and probably over 50 eyes). I had already replaced the reverse lights and that still wasn't throwing enough light. So...

I added these this morning. I tapped into the trailer reverse signal wire. I used existing holes in the bumper. Really didn't take that long and I like how it turned out.

I am contemplating adding a switch in the cab to turn them on independently to assist in loading the 4 wheeler or hooking the boat trailer up in the dark. I'll then use a relay for the lights and run power to the bed for a power outlet while I'm stringing the wires.

ETA: here's the URL for the lights from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DR67P9I/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I did the same thing, just added on light. Made a HUGE difference and I'm going to add a switch as well to manually turn them off/on.

Great for hooking up trailers and knowing were the back is when backing into parking spaces!
