    looking to buy a CAI from a guy but he's got a 2012 & I have an 07
    Is there differences? Can it still work?

    I bought a 2007 k&n filter for my 2012, and the mounting hardware is all different. I ran it for a day, but had to pull it out cause it just wasn't right.

    dont bother.

    1. you are in CA, you will fail smog with it on unless its carb legal (which it probably isnt)
    2. there are zero performance gains as the stock intake is already a true cold air intake.
