Not a clue. I think I may have a burnt out ballast. My passenger side stopped working so I ordered new bulbs. Swapped those in and it still doesn't fire.

I'm working so much right now that I don't have time to mess with it and figure it out haha.

Gotcha. Try switching the bulbs from side to side, if the same side is out it's the ballast if not it's the bulb. Sounds like you already have new bulbs though so time for new ballasts. Shouldn't take long to swap them out. If you bring it to the fiesta island meet on the 5th I'll do it if you bring the parts haha.

That is some BS man, sucks there being stupid about it. I always imagined State Farm was one of the "better" ones up there with like AAA.
Hope this gets sorted out soon.

I can do it! Just need to find the time! haha

Thanks for the tips though. I'll try swapping bulbs from side to side.

You think it could be regional thing? Whoever covers your area is more responsive and better taken care of than whoever is covering @digitaLbraVo area?
I've had a "hit and run" happened to me while on the I-10 in San Bernardino but everything was taken care of within a few days by Allstate.

My brother works as a claims adjuster for Geico in a body shop, only been doing it for about 3 months and my god....the stories he has. I wouldn't be able to do his job, I would end up in prison for homicide. The shit he has to deal with from people is unreal, lol.

Geico gave me their estimate, and the check. I took it to my own shop where they told me the check and Geico's estimate was too low. So they did the work and then called Geico for an adjustment. They came out and approved the adjustment and wrote the shop a check for the difference.

I also wanted to put on the aftermarket bumper, so I bought the bumper myself, and the shop credited me for what it would have cost if they had purchase Toyota parts for the replacement OEM parts. The labor was covered by insurance.

I feel like this isn't just a Geico thing, because the auto body owner said they work with all insurance companies and it's the same process.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
This is exactly the process I've been told by multiple people and several shops now.

I also got a quote from another shop while waiting for my same day appointment. They completely ignored it and said they don't estimate based on outside quotes. The quotes from other shops are more to give you an idea of what the required work and cost will end up being, as well as catching some things the insurance adjuster may not have the trained eye to catch.

Just wrecked mine a few weeks ago and that was my experience. They have their own system for figuring quotes. It's some guy who knows nothing about body work just adding obvious damaged parts to the list. They write it for the absolute minimum and when it ends up costing more, it's up to the body shop to reach out to the insurance company to get paid the difference. This very well could be a Geico thing, but as I said, that was my experience.

@digitaLbraVo Denny, it's a pretty lousy situation you're in, but in the end you'll have all new parts, and maybe some nice after market parts if you decide to go that route.

For those going in on the prinsu rack gb, I suggest ordering 2-3 additional cross bars. When you start mounting gear of different lengths and widths you're going be happy you did. And for the 3rd gen owners pick up a 1/2 sized crossbar from Zack to fit the shark fin antenna. The 3rd gens shark fin is different in size than the 2nd gen so you'll need the halfsize or turn one of the provide cross bars on its side -- but that just looks funny.

Ps, Z man usually only does his gb in spring so the fact he's doing one (only a feeler at the moment) now then you're in good shape if you can get one before your spring camping trips come around. The gear mounting options with it are only limited to your own creativeness,

1/4" -20 X whatever length you want carriage bolts are going to be your new mounting bffs
