Another question and depending on the answer I might need to replace all of them.

I have the Bilstein 5100 adjust struts up front to fit 33's so their is that angel difference. I do not believe it is an issue as it has been in this configuration for 75K miles and just now, at 227k, is the carrier bearing squealing and causing the intermittent vibration at acceleration and various speeds.

What are you all's opinions who may have experience with this. Should I look at a shim at the diff?

You can't just remove the front half of the drive shaft.

You will have to remove the entire drive shaft to replace the Carrier Bearing. Then you can also get access to all three universal joints.

Some Prerunners also have zerk fittings for grease. The only way to know is to look.

Yeah, I realized I'd read a tutorial on the 1st gen Taco. When I watched the right one I saw I have to take the whole thing out, so I'll just replace all 3 while it's out to replace the carrier bearing.
    Thanks for the heads up

Is that part described in the first post what is needed for all 3? I ask because I'll be replacing my carrier bearing soon and need to make sure I have all the correct parts before starting work.
