You will be fine without it and many of us will have our recovery gear with us to help anyone in need.

With GT there's plenty of ways to drag a Tacoma out

That's not really a joke as I tend to overpack when it comes to recovery gear.

I will eventually get to that point myself; you can never have too much gear to keep your vehicle going.
Needing to buy my truck came a little sooner than I anticipated so it drained all my savings :/ . By January I hope to be back to normal.

These trucks are pretty capable. For the most part don't need anything unless you purposefully go into something tough

Very true. I splurged on the offroad with crawl control for a reason. I expect to never to get stuck on a "normal road", lol,
though I still want to have the equipment so that I can help people in the winter if they get stuck. When I eventually save up enough for an arb bumper it will be winch time too :D.

The 2 speed transfer case is only $2,400 bucks. haha I might just pick one up tomorrow at that price!

Those things are stout. Just watched a few videos. Has anyone on here done the swap on an IFS tacoma?

Good plan, but remember that the ARB bumper does not have recovery points on it.

@G.T. where were you yesterday when I needed you? After 13.5 hours I finally mounted my Bilstein 6112 and 5160.

Looks awesome. Yesterday I was relaxing with friends around a "small" fire.

We had finished building it last week and it was 18' tall. I always forget to take pictures and this one was taken late last night.

Hello guys, I was looking around MO hunting for places to go off road and was hoping to get some input. We are hoping to make a trip down that way, maybe next year, do a bit of Overlanding and/or Crawling. We want to hit a few spots and do primitive camping depending on locations we find along the way.

Here is a few places I found that look promising:

    SMORR (This one is obvious)
    Moonlight Racing
    Monkey Mountain
    Rush Springs
    CMORP
    Turkey Bay (Actually in Kentucky)

The Tornado Alley Cruiser Guys use SMORR for an annual event but that is about all I know about these ORV Parks/Areas. Any of you been to these places? Have any opinions about them?

Actually a bunch of us were just at moonlight racing today. I really enjoyed it. Couldn't say anything about the other places. There's a nice state Park close by too.

Tornado Alley Cruisers also use "Flat Nasty Off-Road Park" in Jadwin, Mo and it's allot of fun too. They just had their "Fall Crawl" event there a few weeks ago.

Search for "high watermark trail" in Arkansas, I keep hearing great things about it and really want to go and do it myself.

Thanks for the input! I've seen a few people say good things about Flat & Nasty. I will definitely take a look at High Water Mark Trail. I'm hoping my truck will be ready to hit the trails by spring. We are already planning a trip up north through WI and maybe MI mid summer and I'm hoping we can fit in southern trip though southern MO, AR area but the MO trip may have to be put off until the following year.

Currently uploading files from Stocker No Locker.
You can find the full resolution here.
If you want your plate blurred out, let me know and I will do that asap.
Also can give you a copy without the watermark.

Will be adding the photos to the Mo4wd's facebook page in a minute.

Unfortunately you guys ran off to the different trails. I would have loved to get your truck and the 4runner in action. I should hopefully have more opportunities to in the future.

My driver predator step received some damage. I'm hoping I might be able to knock it back into place and find someone to weld it. That way I can still sell them for some change when I buy actual sliders. Do have any suggestions on how to go about it? Aside from hitting it with a hammer, lol.
