I have done the yellow wire mod a while ago on my 2010 4cyl and I put a switch on the wire to have it reversible. Lately, I went on 4lo and tried my switch (wich was working when I wire it) and truck stayed in "yellow wire mod", so 4lo light was blinking and the "sliding car logo" was still off.

I checked all my connections behind the glove box and tested my switch and everything was fine...

I know it is not a "real" issue because the yellow wire mod goal is to have it shut off but I am wondering why it stopped coming back to stock when I flip my switch...

Is there someone who has experiences this?

Have you checked to make sure that your switch isn't broken?

Does it persist after you cycle the ignition switch?

I'm not sure about your question ... you mean like turning the ignition on and then off with my swith on different position?
