Backup Sensors/Distance to hitting something

Hey fellow Taco Owners,

I have used the search and have not really found what I am looking for yet. I am wondering if anybody has any tips or tricks or insiders knowledge to the backup sensors. As I back into my garage and the beeps change and I watch the lines on the screen, I don't trust them and maybe I shouldn't. But, any tips or tricks on them? I've seen in the setup where you can make changes but I am not sure what that change even does.
