looking at OME 880 coils and it says they give about 1.5" of lift. I have a 2.5" strut spacer that i use aswell. Will 5100s work with that set up? Or should i get 881 coils and ditch the 2.5" spacer? I want to keep my truck sitting close to how it is now but it needs new shocks and coils. Looking at options to not have to get new UCAs or anything else other than coils and shocks/struts. Need some ideas

I would be surprised if you got 1.5" out of the 880's. I have the 881s and it says 2" of lift with them but I swear I only got .75" of lift in the front, possibly 1". If you're looking to keep it close to stock, then go for the 880's and keep the 5100s set to 0".

You won't need UCA's with that setup, only if you go 2.5 - 3" lift

I have 2.5" spacers on now so i have lift, should i keep the 5100s set to 0" still? And run the 880s?

First off you never want to stack lifts...spacer lift on top of a suspension lift coil unless you want to break stuff. Are you a ext. Cab or double cab? If you want 2.5" of lift go with the 882 coil if your a double cab. Also it is not recommended to ever compress a lift coil. So whatever ome coil you go with the 5100 will be set at 0" the coil provides the lift. Best option would be to go with ome shocks and coils as they are designed to work together and give the best ride.

Ah I missed the part about the spacers. Honestly I'm not sure how those will affect things, I'm not familiar with spacer lifts.

So i could ditch the spacers then. I just dont want to get a coil that is going to not lift the amount it says because then my tires will start to rub And its a double cab. What is the best riding spring to go with a 5100?

    Pretty much stock right now
I have 880s because I wanted to stay near stock height. Front lift is just over an inch (2.7l). I'm not running 5100s though, just a non-adjustabe shock. Wheeler 5 leaf packs with matching shocks in the rear for about 1.5+ lift. No spacers, stock tires. Perfect for a daily driver.

    The struggle, it is real.

I've spent so much money on other things lately (mostly repair-wise) that I'm out of the mod game for a bit. New lower ball joints, fan clutch and UCAs + upper ball joints and that's only in the last 3 weeks.

yeah I feel ya, but that definitely means you are keeping this truck ! So enjoy the ride as long as you can, when you can. No rush also :)

I think im going to get some 882s since i have the 3.4 and double cab and have a 30 lb bull bar on front aswell. The 881s seem like it may or may not give me the lift i want after a few hours research. Pair it with 5100s and get some new oem rear leafs and 5100s on the back

If I had to do it again I would go 882s or 883s instead of the 881s I got. Like I said earlier, the 881's only gave me about 1" of lift in the front instead of the 2" that OME stated they would provide. I've also got 4x4 so my front end is a bit heavier, that might have something to do with it. Going to have to preload the 5100s to the first setting so I can level it out a bit.
