Beautiful truck! I'm trying to decide if I want to black out my emblems/grill right now as well, this may have pushed me over the edge.. Damn!

 

Yeah definetly blacking out the grill is a must on any new Tacoma in my opinion well unless you like the shiny chrome look. It's all personally prefference

Whelp.. Saying goodbye is never easy.. Lol I'm trading in my 2016 Black TRD sport 4x2 today.. but it makes it a lot easier when I'm getting a Quicksand Tan 4x4 to take its spot hahaha. Say goodbye to Vader and say hello to Chewwie

 

So today I picked up my new 17 QS Tacoma. I had a TRD pro grill that I got for my black Tacoma but since I traded it that truck in I decided to put it on the QS truck. I didn't like the "gray" letters so I decided to pop them off the TRD pro grill and re-paint them a flat black, I think it matches a lot better... Well in my opinion anyway lol

 

haha. this thread is nuts. hope you brought your pro shift knob with you too. you didn't swap the wheels and tires?

 

Lol yup of course I took everything off! I traded the car back in 100% stock.

 

Today I decided to remove the Tacoma door and V6 rear emblems. I might paint them black and put them back on.. Haven't decided yet.

 

I think it looks much cleaner without the emblems on the door.

 

Yeah I would have to agree. Atleast on this quicksand color

 

Just got done putting on my 3in lift and the bronze TEs. Sorry for the crappy iPhone picture. I'll get better pictures tomorrow

Like the color of bronze wheels on Quicksand tan but I love the way the colors blend and flow together! Isn't everyone's "cup of tea" I think it looks great

The quicksand with bronze te's looks awesome! I know theres someone on IG who has a set on his qs tundra pro too.
Picking up a set of mag blue ones have gone through my mind a couple times

 

Dude you really should get a set of TEs! TEs with out a doubt are definetly one of the nicest looking wheels on tacomas. And there pretty light weight. But yeah I think I know what tundra pro your talking about.. Is it think one?

 

Who wore the TEs better?? Hahaha! Comparison time... Black or Tan

 

I gotta say the quicksand looks better to me. But hey I'm biased as this is the color of tacoma I will be buying. Ha!
