I'm defiantly going to have to take a trip to Cali to check this beast out once it's done.

Should be pretty cool once it's done... Hoping @DTFtacoma starts kicking this build into high gear!

Kewl, I'm just trying to gather an idea of what parts to get, got the truck torn down right now and mapping everything out with a 3D model.

Springs outside the frame. Doing it like a ranger. 64s or 62s?

I like it. Seems a lot of sprung under guys are going that way now. I never analyze the 2 different types. I know it changes your roll center.

Noticed the rear c pillar outside the cab. Must be a pain to stuff those seats in there.

Figure mounting it further out towards the tire like this will only help with stability and handling, well that's the plan. And yeah the 1st gen dbl cab is a very small cab. I'm gonna keep the stock bench until I decide to go fuel cell then I can cut the floor out and drop it a bit and gain leg room. Besides the back is really for my kids.

Looks good! Are you still going to run the stock fuel tank or going with a cell?

Well since I'm in CA for now I've decided to keep stock tank. Maybe do a cell down the rode with a LS swap lol

Guess what. You know that little stunt I pulled. Ha. I bent the shit out of my radiator support and I can't open my hood :p I guess it's going to be time to educate myself on how to make a engine cage to help support the bullshit in the engine bay. Because of the feeling of wanting to see how hard you can push it. It's really nice to have a guy like tony build you a truck to hold up to the abuse. Cant wait to see it done for sure!
