Ive ran most of them at one time or another.
On my Tavor Sar18, Ive run aimpoint pro, aimpoint patrolman, strikefire 2.

On my civi remington ACR...ive run the strikefire 2 with the vmx-3t. And also ran the same setup on my steyr aug.

I bought a cheapo....canr remember the name off the top of my head but there are 2 different brands that produce nearly identical red dots. It will come to me in a min.

It really all depends on your eyes. I have people shoot my rifles and some swear there is a halo around the dot. To me, its clear as day and super precise.

You really just have to try different ones out and pick the one that suits your eyes.

"Primary arms" micro dot. Is one of the 2 that I bought. Aimpoint t-1 is the other.
    Both great red dots.

On my carbine I have an aimpoint M4 and I love it. Used ACOG, eotech, and aimpoint - without the need for zoom, i prefer aimpoint for a few reasons.
    mostly for the no paralax

I just usually keep one earbud in and listen to on-demand XM Covino and Rich. It's tough to use the phone and listen to a show at the same time. Music is much easier. We typically have 7-10 people all listening to their own stuff but still finding the time to joke around.

Night #7, 3 more to go, then 2 days off, then another month and a half with 2 days off somewhere in there, the joys of turnaround. But my check next week makes it alllllllllll worth it :D

Nice ride! Looks like a fun time ahead of you - very jealous.

Back to work tonight. Would rather just sleep. Get off at 7am, then have to go back at 11am for a "book session"(a meeting about a book they made the entire faculty/staff read). Let me tell you- working for a university who doesn't get that not every single person works a normal shift is a pain in the ass. Of course I get to sleep 2 hours and wake up to sit in a room for 2 hours, then try to go back to bed....thanks...
