I was checking out your build thread, looks like we have similar taste in trucks and camo (saw the kuiu sticker, I put one on mine last week)

Yep they are a work in progress I need to update our build since they have evolved some since our ten day overland trip. Let me know how the KM2s do. I want then but am worried about snow. I was looking at 33/10.5x15 which would cancel me being able to run chains.

Got the truck lifted and parts put on. 3" OME lift, black rear bumper, tailights, dz toolbox, cbi ditchlight mounts and switch, pilot LEDS. I am really stoked with the way it came out!

Well I had these same tires on my 2nd and 3rd gen 4runners and they are wicked in the snow! I have had really good luck with mine. Last year on a December elk hunt I was pushing snow with the top of the Toyota emblem on the grill on the 3rd gen 4runner, 4lo+rear locker+km2=unstoppable...the snow in the pic wasn't as high as it was on the north facing slope to get to this point, but you could see the snow stuck in the emblem! This thing was a beast, I hope the Tacoma pulls as good.

Got ahold of a set of these tundra/sequoia 17" split 5 star wheels in hyper silver, which is like a dark silver/light gunmetal color. Can't wait to get some tires on them, I've always liked these wheels.

Today was a little long overdue love on the toy. Went to the dealer this morning and picked up a new drivers front outer door handle, mine was cracked $125, then I bought 2 gallons of Toyota long life coolant (recommended for this truck) to freshen up the cooling system. I also needed a couple bolts that were missing from where the PO had removed the rear mud flaps. Anyway at the end of the trip I spent a little over $200 on parts but it was well worth it. While I had the door panel off to replace handle, I decided to upgrade the front speakers with some Kenwoods out of my son's wrecked truck. Didn't fit right so had to do a little engineering lol, but sound a lot better than stock.

Thanks, I just removed the rack to put some padding along the bed rails and repaint it, should be going on soon. Also got a winch that mounts to the rack but need to finish ordering the wiring and quick connects and i'll get that all wired up.
