Yea that shit was stupid in 3 too IMO. But I was a die-hard 2 fan

 

2 still had the OV and AC. Its the modded pistol rocket launchers and super jumps that killed 2.

As for EQ, it had its use and playlist. This is why I ran 2 accounts and a ton of 1 month accounts. I played social with my main after its experience was too high to ever get over a 46. We did 15 back to back wins on TS and it would never move, so I gave up.
Thats why I created a ranked only tag. That one has its 50 but I never went back and got the 400 exp to hit general. This was before the social rankings that was purely based on exp and near my end of Halo career. Once reach hit, i faded away. It took so much of me to play through legendary halo 5. I wont even attempt it solo.

 

So for you xb1 guys that are nearing 400. Would you be interested in running 3s to possibly go into ToO. Maybe just start playing the nerfed clash and see if we can form a decent enough team to go to the lighthouse?

I figure once im done leveling, maybe Id be willing to try it out.

 

Im intrigued by ToO, but not sure if im 100% yet. This is only from watching streams that has me piqued.

Its all depending on a team. Finding the right classes and people that mesh is tough.

 

I didn't start playing Trials until earlier this year. Never had a desire to step foot in there really. But a couple of other guys that I group with all the time wanted to start so I said why not? I will tell you that my K/D suffered for the first few months since I never played 3v3. Add to that 2 of us are running WL's so there's that. But... we make it to at least the 6-7 round each week now so we're getting closer. The majority of Trials is learning to communicate with each other and skill in your class. The rest is just a little bit of good luck.

I ran Trials with another friend last week and though he is a beast in PvP and has gone to the Lighthouse he is terrible at calling out and just runs off and does his own thing which left us just following him around while he got killed. Needless to say, we didn't get very far.

 

I've put it off for far too long but I honestly think I'm going to start running my Titan in PvP exclusively. I love the fact that I can still compete with others with a sub par class but I've come to the conclusion that it's just a fuck ton easier running a Titan in PvP with the same outcome. I have to work far less to get kills when I'm on the Titan. I've always kept one WL that was my main PvP character but I think that is about to change.

 

Titan is an awesome class when setup properly. Those lighting grenades can bite you, but damn they are powerful.
Having 2 of those or even concussion to take people out of supers would be beneficial for stormcaller or hammers.

 

I run Striker when I run my Titan in PvP (even with the shoulder charge nerf). Though Fist of Havoc (or fist of panic) is like the WL Nova Bomb and is a one and done super, I get more kills with shoulder charge throughout the game so it more than evens out. And yes, lightning grenades are awesome for cutting off a path.

 

Not just cutting a path, but two well placed will wipe a team. This is why im so stuck on the Armenmatarium...

Yeah it wasn't bad. Played with my regular group tonight and got it done fast.

 

Even though im wearing the all black shader and it says classified on the Destiny app. This is how its showing up.

 

Cannot get a 400 helmet to drop. My 399 helmet is holding me back. Not a big deal but I'm a completionist at heart and I want it done lol. That said my other WL and Titan are 396 respectively. I remember when artifacts were hard to come by. I never thought a helmet would hold me back.

Been trying to get the Dark Drinker done cause its supposed to be really OP for Aksis HM.

A few friends and I are running normal tomorrow. We should be a full party but just in case if I see any of you XB1 guys on I may send an invite.

 

The classes don't really matter. Call outs and playing as a team does. Also knowing when to revive and when to charge the enemy so they don't revive. Having someone that is a good sniper always helps as they will usually get the first kill of the game.

 

Realkraffty is a good one to watch for toO streams, he's a beast.

 

I feel that having a good mix is the way to go.
