Greetings! Since 2005 I have owned a 97 Tacoma, 97 T-100 and my current 97 T-100. Great trucks except for the frame rust. I ran the Tacoma for 3 years before Toyota bought it back for $4,000 more than I paid for it! The T-100 lasted 5 years before the frame failed inspection. The current T-100 is going strong at 155K albeit a bit rusty. With a new driver in the family our driveway will look like a used car lot and I need to consolidate my T-100 and my daily driver. I am hoping to learn more about second gen Tacomas for an upcoming purchase.
