    I gotta tell you though, the roads in that state are so tore up a person doesn't want to drive much faster than that anyway!

    Its the AZ people pulling trailers that don't pay taxes in our state that cause the problems. :poking:

    I've paid enough taxes in that communist state to build alot of road. I just moved to Arizona in 2013. The first year I filed my tax return in Az I actually got a return! I was totally dumbfounded!

    Yup. I'm replacing some of my less than a year old suspension. Not really high end replacements, but since I'm getting plate bumpers front and rear, I need some higher rated springs front and rear. With this comes a little higher overall lift, which then requires aftermarket UCA's, extended rear shocks, bumpstops, etc. The snowball keeps rolling....

    Just messing with you, there are some bad roads here and no monies to fix them.

    Tell me about it

    I know. I'm pretty thick skinned. But it does amaze me how there can be so much work done on those freeways and they seem to just get worse. My normal routes from here to there are 10, 210, 5, 99, 12 and 101. 10 and 210 and always being rebuilt to the point that, in the rain, you can't tell what lane you're in because the lines have been blasted and moved so many times. 99 qnd 5 through Sac are the same plus they change connectors so much I now take 12 across to Santa Rosa and it's mostly 2 lane. 99 is primarily good except for through any city limit.

    I've done the 1500+ mile round trip 3 times since the end of June and, if I get frustrated, I can only imagine how everyone else feels.

    Oh btw thanks for the pillow tip I did try it but since I have never been a back sleeper I could not fall asleep though it was not due to the shoulder. Can't wait to get these stitches out and start moving the arm it aches a fair bit just sitting in the damn sling.

    Thanks,
    They tell me it will be till March before I am done rehabbing it and then the real test can I go back to work catching 85lb plus dogs on a bite sleeve , drawing a weapon from a holster and handling at shot gun and M4 . That is my biggest concern , I can't catch a dog on my left side my ortho Dr's would be pissed if I destroyed the rebuilds on the knee and ankle on that side lol. To quote one " You are not a young guy anymore and we can only wire so much back together " lol I told him hey it keeps your sail boat slip paid for so why are you complaining :} He is a good Dr just thinks he is funny sometimes and well isn't lol. When he did the knee I was 32 he said then that it should be replaced but due to my activity level and such he couldn't as it wouldn't last . When I was still doing rehab on it after 7 months I asked him why is it I see these sports guys getting ACL replacements and rework of MCL and such back on the football or baseball field in 6 months and I am doing rehab still.. His response " Well first off they are 22 not 32 and they have professional PT people to work with 8 hours a day 5 days a week" sigh ... Hell he used me for a show and tell for a young kid who injured his knee doing soccer he did ask and I agreed but still brings the kid in shows him the xrays and the hardware in the knee and tells him see you do not want to end up like this so take care of your knee now .. Apparently he was being lol NON COMPLIANT on his pt :} I get to drive to the VA today to pick up paper work for the ENT guy since he says umm yes you do not hear correctly in either ear right one being the worst and the VA ENT guy says your fine.. I pick up all the audiology stuff there bring to him and he is going to go over it and write up a DBQ and NEXUS letter for me.. well at least that is the plan. One of these days the VA will hire some Dr's who look out for the patient not for the VA !! Sigh sorry rant over :}
