These Luverne Baja nerf bars intrigue me. Black powder coated stainless, and the step is 4" below the tube. Thinking it will work much better as a step in.

I'd say you are right... great step.. but NO paint protection... I guess you gotta decide what is more important to you..
As a step, those look great....!! Good luck with your decision..

Took delivery today of my 2017 TRD Sport, double cab, long bed.

    Very nice truck!

Can also confirm that it was delivered with both sets of mats (carpets and rubber), cleats for the bed rails, mud guards and also the hitch receiver (no ball).

I was surprised to see the box containing the hitch receiver but hey, i'm not complaining!

I brought home my Canadian spec 2017 4 door TRD sport long bed yesterday and I too was pleasantly surprised to get a hitch receiver. It came with sill protectors, 2 sets of mats, D rings at rear, and 4 cleats for bed rails.
Does anyone know if this vehicle has other towing options included, like tranny cooler, etc?
Not sure if I'm happier about the 3rd Gen or sadder about selling my trusty 1st gen today….
By the way, it shifts just fine.IMG_6469.jpg

Yes the mud flaps came standard on my 4 door long bed TRD sport. Let me know where you get the LED lite bar.

I got 1000 off MSRP in BC, with 500 off retail for parts (incl. tires/wheels) and a 600 credit for giving them the "tires" and "wheels" that were specified by the designer at toyota while he was either under the green spell of a climate lobbyist or just drunk.

stupid swype, didn't add the not in there lol. not 100% sure for online
Ya I'm in southern ontario, place here in the greater toronto area that has ARB for decent prices. Similar to US prices after exchange rate but save on shipping and duties. Don't think they really ship across the country though, they don't have much of a website

Off road addiction is the place in London that has decent prices but again not sure if they ship really.
    maybe try https://tacomatownonline.com/ alberta based
give them a call see what they can get you. I was originally going to get stuff from them until I found the local place.

Maybe ask @0210 if he knows any. He's from BC I believe.

ARB has an office in Washington state, so your best bet is to make a roadtrip and pick up whatever goodies you want. I'm lazy, so I ship to the border and go pick parcels up in Blaine, but being that you're far from the border, that'll be a chore.

I know there's a shop called BajaNorth in Kamloops that carries ARB stuff - try talking w/ them.

Yeah there is a dealer holdback as well. Last I can recall it is 2% of the dealer's invoice. They will still make money in the end.

Most dealerships make the majority of their money from the service department. Ever look at the hourly rate? $130/hr is the going rate at many dealerships in the lower mainland. When your first year apprentices make $17/hr and the guy/girl with the full ticket makes $35-50/hr you are still making an absolute killing.

Good old Prince George. I was born and raised there.

They weren't willing to negotiate with me up there. But then again it is PG.

My in law makes on average more than that. He's been doing it for over 15 years and is paid by the job. They offered $50/hr and he turned it down. He splits the labor rate with the dealership which is $130/hr and he is super fast and efficient with his work. Hasn't had any customers come back (unless it was a part failure).

I would prefer not to name the dealership but the shop he worked at before paid him even more if taxes were factored in. At the dealership he gets taxed huge amounts, at his old shop he was an "independent mechanic" so he could write off everything.
