    Hello All,

I recently adopted my first Taco. She's a 2017 Inferno TRD Sport 4x4 Double Cab. I was already a Toyota guy (2015 Camry, 2001 Corolla) and had previously owned a competitor's truck (1997 Chevy 2500 4x4) a few years back.

She's auto w/o the JBL/Tech package. I want to add some running boards or steps to help me climb in... lol. I'm also looking to perform a 4" lift and add some stylish wheels and decently road-friendly A/T tires. Perhaps I'll look into a more aggressive exhaust. I would like to please see examples of other 3rd gen Inferno Tacos that have been modified. Any links would be appreciated.

Here she is in the dealer's delivery bay (before the windows were tinted) and sitting in the driveway at home the same day... I brought her home on 10/2/16.

Any word if we should expect to see serious performance modifications for the new 3.5L Atkinson cycle engine anytime soon?

It's vinyl? No kidding. How do I get it off? Peel it off with goo-gone?

What's the best way to rid the chrome and badges? Plasti-dip? Or are there reasonably priced alternatives? I'd like to have her well customized by Christmastime.

Yep... look around the 2016-2017 pages... you'll find it... not sure of everyone's exact method on this.

As for the badges... plastidip is the best route if you want them black without having to remove them from the truck...

If you want them off... use fishing line and saw back and forth behind the emblem.. cutting the adhesive.
