Too funny I've been checking that out as well. My dad threw away 3-4 crates of my old ones

I guessed the bike was new school, the rear brake tipped me off. I wanted to be just like Buff and Woody Itson as a kid.

I was pretty much solo growing up in a rich town in the south part of MA. Had a few nice bikes I'd kill to have back like my Schwinn Free Form EX that got stolen

Bringing this one back up from the dead for a question...

Lost my old Dyno a few years back, bought a mountain bike to try to use for longer rides and, frankly, I hate it. Looking now at bikes and wondering if any on has experience with 24" (freestyle, not race) bikes? Curious as to how they compare to the 20"s I've come to know and love. At 6'1, 220lbs I was told I looked like a circus bear on 20 (don't really care) and thought 24 would be smoother for riding and still be practical enough for the occasional jumping and overall hooliganism.

I'll probably wind up buying or building a 24" and Craigslist find a cheaper 20" with a 21+ top tube when it's all said and done...

I haven't stepped up to a 24 yet, but I find that my rl22 is great and feels like a bigger bike, but still is 20"

I fit my old Dyno just fine but I have been curious as to a 24 (or 26 but not really even on my radar) being more comfortable to just toss in the truck bed and go explore some new areas to thrash or just sight see.

I've ridden and raced 24" Cruisers for a loooong time. I raced and rode street on a 20" as well but a Cruiser is so much easier to ride and as I get older much funner since I'm not trying to hit every rail and grind shit as much. Right now I have a Blk Mrkt Riot (26") that I ride dirt and street with. It's my favorite bike. Anyway, try a big bike. You'll love it.

Looking around now and 26" is popping up more and more on my radar. Was really wanting another 20" so I could throw it in the truck bed under the tonneau cover and take it basically everywhere and just pull over and ride whenever I saw a spot or felt like it. 24 & 26ers are almost long for that...

Just get a rack and good lock. I take my 29er (don't judge!) on a lot of desert trips and ride off on random trails all the time. Lots of fun to just pull a bike of a rack and start pedaling.
