HEATHEN! AL would NEVER sit for a picture that long. He'd be too busy bitching about politics. HAIL MINISTRY!

Anyways, Ive got a 82 Vette with a 468 and sidepipes. Muncie 4 speed. I had to install a 1000 watt sound system just so I could hear the Mighty Al Jourgeson over my exhaust. At 75 MPH, the car is spinning 3800 rpm and sounds like a WW1 biplane....the stereo is so loud that my lungs are collapsing with the bass drop. Its almost religious.

I loved the sound of my 24V common rail Dodge spooling. I loved the sound of the straight pipe on my Jeep's 318.

But I cannot play the music loud enough to drown out the airy, whippy throttle sound on my Taco. Each to their own.

I always have my radio on and somewhat turned up. At a high enough RPM (starting around 2500) it starts to become a little more predominant, but because my clutch throwout bearing squeaks I never turn off the radio because that dang bearing is so annoying to hear chirp away.
