SOLD FS: Canon EOS T2i SOLD

Hey guys, I'm looking to sell just the camera, the lens has been sold already. The Camera is in great shape and has not been used nearly as much as it should have been. I'm looking to get $150 for it. Included in this purchase is a data cable, 2 batteries (one is brand new!) and a battery charger.

 

That's a great deal on this camera. I have the same one and spent about 5 times your asking price on it just a few years ago.

 

Thanks, I recently upgraded to a 70D, and between that and some big truck purchases I need to get rid of some gear. If this doesn't sell I might as well just keep it as a backup camera. It still takes excellent shots even compared to the 70D.

 

What would a basic do it all lens run me?

 

So if you're looking for a multi-use kit lens a great starter would be the 'Canon EF-S 18-55mm IS STM'. Ignore the list price on that, they can be had used for ~$70. This lens was sold as the kit lens for a number of Canon cameras, so you have a lot of people selling them for pennies on the dollar. I actually just sold one myself for $75 brand new. What's great about this lens is that it has optical image stabilization and an STM motor that is very quiet, so if you ever want to take video, it will be silky smooth and free of focus noise. And if you're just taking photos, the 18-55mm focal range should work in most common scenarios.

I'd buy a lens like that now, and when you get more advanced you can invest in some more expensive glass. The thing about good glass is that you only have to buy it once.

 

Nah, they definitely are using different sensors, but you're right the T2i is a real great value right now. I'm pretty sure the next 2 cameras that replaced it had the same sensor and they sell for a good bit more.
