Discount Tire Direct ebay store coupon $100 off $400 - Expires 10/31/16

Just ordered a set of 4 Dynapro ATm's in 265/75/16. As long as I get them before Friday they'll be installed by this weekend.

May depend on tire size, but best I could do was $366 shipped for 4 AT/3s 265/75/16 ($91.50 a wheel)

 

So I just got a set of Michelins for $200 off using this code - yes it worked even though it didn't say $100 off $400 on the tire ad.

Where are you guys getting these installed? Can I take them to my local Discount Tire and have them do it? Do they charge more because I didn't get them there?

 

I take them to my local discount. They usually charge $16/tire. I think that's the normal rate

 

If a set of two tires is over $400, you can use the coupon twice. Do you just do two separate transactions or can you get it to work in one transaction so you can get the manufacturer rebate on a set of 4 also?

 

You'll do 2 separate transactions. That's the only way you can use the coupon code twice. When DTD sends you your invoice, it will have all 4 tires listed on the same invoice. I did this exact same thing when they ran the deal back in March

 

I bought 4 Wildpeak 285/70/17 LT and 4 Level 8 MK6 wheels and lugs. $200 discount from ebay store, $100 Tread Lightly Falken rebate, and $100 Tread Lightly Discount Tire rebate. $1,100 shipped, taxed, mounted and balanced. Ordered on Monday at 4, showed up Wednesday at 10am. Time to sell my 285/70/17 Hankook MTs and FJ Cruiser wheels.

Anybody knows if you can still add roadside protection to these tires?

 

When you search for your tires there should be with and without protection tickets or whatever they call them. Keep scrolling. It will say in the description and obviously cost more. I really don't think I'll ever pay extra for protection anymore. Never used it. Walmart will plug a tire for $10 and if it can't be fixed I'll buy a new one...if that ever happens.

 

If you take them to Discount tire to have them mounted, they can sell you the Cert's for replacement.

Just FYI and YMMV...Last year when I got some ATP's for my dad's Tacoma I called DTD afterwards to get the TPMS thing figured out for mounting on the new wheels we ordered at the same time...blah blah... anyhow, they offered me the replacement Cert's for half the cost...and threw in free lug nuts as well.
