20% tint all around, blacked out badges, flowmaster 40 series and tip, rock hood deflectors, window deflectors, home made baja bumper, 17" XDseries wheels on some nitto terra grapplers, bright white led interior lights, blue needle on white gauges, cb antenna, with cobra radio.
so im stuck guys, I put in the new radio spring, hooked everything up and now when i put the cable on my battery the horn wont shut up. So i unplugged the wire harnesses that plug into the top on the radio spring and the horn stops. I grab my continuity tester and put it on the prong that meets up with the black wire that goes to the horn pressure switch/airbag and the other end on a ground and the horn goes off again. Im in a pickle can anyone help?

It's probably a cheap knock off. They have problems with the pins aligning properly. Check to make sure they are all engaged with the proper holes.

Hate to say it, but I think you rolled the dice and lost.

I replaced mine a while ago, and agonized over whether to spend the big bucks or not. I ended up ebaying from autosupplyking91. The price was about half OEM from a stealership. It came in a Toyota branded box, but I'm still not sure if it's an honest-to-goodness OEM or a really good scam. (Nothing on the body of the part said Toyota, though even that could easily be faked.) It's been working well for around a year -- still keeping my fingers crossed.

Part of what scared me away for the super cheap ones was the fear of having an airbag blow in my face while driving. (That may or may not be a real thing, but...)

You have an improper ground on the horn relay circuit. The horn relay has power all the time and the ground for this is switched by the horn switch in the steering wheel through the spiral cable.
