Maybe a revival of this thread. I have a 2009 double cab with running boards, oem rack, bull bar and PIAA (so ~75lbs?) I only want to lift the truck in front max 2". Im worried that the 885 will lift it around 3", settle down to about 2.75" meaning that I should get UCA (which I don't want to). Does anyone have a similar setup with 884? What do they settle to after a couple months? With that extra weight, would the 885 only be at 2"?

I got 2 1/2" of lift with the 885's , no spacers , on my DCLB

The new 885x coils don't settle like the old ones , mine haven't in 10 months

With your 75 lbs up front , you may come down 1/4 "

I'm in a similar situation. DCSB offroad with the aluminum full hoop Pelfreybilt bumper up front (65lbs), and no winch (No immediate plans either). I don't want to get new UCA's and am looking at the full OME suspension including Dakars. I want some rake, to counter any load when I haul something (but that isn't often). Should I look at the 884 or 885 with the 9000 shocks? To play it safe, I don't want more than 2.5" and I am ok with 2".
Anyone have a similar setup or weight in the front and what have the springs settled to?

image.jpg I had my 884's put on at 750 miles on my truck and it was sitting in the front a little over 2 inches. The front has sagged at 8000 miles and sitting about 2 inches. The rear is just a little lower but waiting some more miles before adding aal.

Looks good, what shocks did you put on with them and did you add any trim packers to counter any lean? Or was there no noticeable lean?

Thanks, I have the Bilstein 5100's bought them from Headstrongoffroad. I had them put the springs on and the spacer for the driver side taco lean. I plan on lifting the rear higher after some more miles are put on. Also I might have my mechanic set my 5100's on the second setting to raise the front a little higher.

I have 885s with no topspacers, just the drivers side packer and had a full 3 inch in the front on my 11 Tacoma trd sport dlbc lb

Does anyone have their 884's coils set at .85 on their Bilsteins 5100's? Just checking to see how they like it.
