Instead of the 7th injector couldn't you just go bigger on the injector size to compensate for more fuel . Like on my 02 supercharged 3RZ 2.7 4cyl. , I'm running the higher flowing "pink" injectors instead of the stock injectors it came with

The pink injectors in running are 2.7lbs per hour and I believe the stock injectors were either blue or brown flowed way less than the pink injectors I've got now

OP be sure to do IAC check valve mod too. Surprised nobody mentions this anymore.

There's a hose that runs to the throttle body, the one without the clamps, that you need to cut and install this one way check valve - part # 00602-17620-065

This will correct the "hesitation" and surging that occurs at high rpms. Really simple mod that will benefit performance. On the valve the arrow points towards the throttle body so be sure to set it in the right direction.

Post 46 and on goes into great detail

Sweet I'm gonna grab that. Now I just put a boost gauge and its reading vaccume. I put it on the port that every thing says and it basically it ties into the fuel pressure on the back side of the s/c. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm pulling my hair out. Lol

image.jpg This is what o read but that port actually pulls vacuume and is where the fuel pressure regulator ties in.

That's a port. You're cutting the IAC line next to a coolant hose.

When I hook up to the port is pulls vacuume I can even feel it with my hand.

Ok, cool. Then it's working. The gauge is only reading about 2.5 - 3lbs of boost and Ye about -20 ish of vaccine. Considering it's a really cheap gauge and my wastegate is not working at all I can feel a pretty big difference. I just have to wait on the new wastegate or "vaccume actuator" and the one way valve IAC mod to come in next week to get the full benefit of the supercharger. Thabks again everyone.

Definitely have a leak somewhere. I would recommend a methanol kit over the 7th injector. They're cheaper and they do a better job at everything the 7th does except maybe high rpm lean out. I would also look into the URD o2/afr calibraor. If you want to tune closed loop (you do, these engines run closed loop for anything under pedal to the floor, all out acceleration) you need a way to alter the o2 signal. Since the supercharger can make so much boost at light throttle you'll definitely want to richen up those areas of the fuel map.

Don't be hesitant to ask dumb questions I personally love helping with this topic:thumbsup:

Yeah the leak is at the vaccume actuator "waste gate". Actually it doesn't even work. The new one will be here Tuesday. Toyota does not sell the one way check valve anymore. I'm just gonna use a generic check valve it should work the same. Thanks for the help.

You're probably going to see a lot more pinging once you're getting 5-6 psi, especially with big tires. Two step closer plugs will really help and they're pretty affordable.

That's what I was thinking. I did go with the ik22 plugs already. I was going for the 7th injector because it seems to be plug and play. Supposedly an easy no maint way to use for the smaller pulley. I've been reading on the water meth injection. I honestly just don't want to have to fill the reservoirs. I guess it's lazy.

Yeah the 7th is pretty much put it on and never touch it again. It cures 90% of the problems with the s/c. It's a good product. There's approximately 20 more hp to be had with a methanol kit over the 7th but it definitely can be finicky and you will find yourself filling the meth tank more often than the fuel.

Here's a local add (for me), might be able to get the 7th off him:

Thanks did this on my turbo 3rz as well same way. Idk how this translates to the 3.4 motor as far as flow rate goes

Hopefully it will be lined out by next week. I think ive made the decision to go with the 7th and smaller pulley. I like the fact it's plug and play. I really appriciate appriciate all yalls help. I'm pumped to actually see what 6 or 7 psi of boost will feel like vs 3 psi of boost.

I guess I should have used the term most practical for my application. I meant basically once it's installed I won't have to mess with it so much. I realize you have to hard wore it to the trucks harness. Sorry about that. Could be misleading for others just reading the thread.
