Had mine out in the snow (dirt road underneath) yesterday. Great tires! Very grippy. Felt like I have on dry pavement.

Just had mine installed yesterday. 265-70-17 Standard Load. (I will get pics later, had them installed on my Level 8 MK6's)

Initial impression - A great looking tire and the price was too good to pass up. Couldn't be happier with my choice of switching out my Cooper ATP's (the ATP's are still a great tire in my opinion, had them installed on my stock Sport wheels so I could have 2 sets of wheels/tires). The brief time I did drive around with the Falken's, I do find them impressive just on dry pavement. Feels smoother than the ATP's. Maybe a tad less road noise, but the ATP's weren't very loud anyway.

Tire Depth - I triple checked every tire and I kept getting 13/32nds even though the website says 14/32nds. I am getting tire rub now with the Falkens, so it is now time to remove the small flaps.

I'm looking forward to see how they perform in the rain and snow. Happy so far.

Do you have a picture of the ATP's on the truck? I would like to see what they both look like.

    Thanks

Could have easily gone bigger but wanted lighter rolling mass and more clearance for off roading. After the transmission TSB my truck drives great and gets good mpg, so these tires do the trick without problems.

Been running mine for a while now, been holding up. Sand/Rain/Mud/Dirt/Rocks will see how they do in Snow this season. Bit on the heavy side, but so far pretty durable and good for DD.

My 265/70/17 Falken AT3 tires came in this morning (P-rated).

Comparing them to my 275/70/17 KO2 E-rated (in the first picture on the left), these Falkens have a really soft sidewall which should help explain why they ride so well. My bathroom scale showed 45.5lbs for each Falken tire.

Yeah, that's what Falken shows for weight on the C-rated 265/75r16. The E-rated goes up quite a lot to where it almost weighs as much as the E-rated 285/75r16 at 60.4 lbs.

So I might have jumped the gun here but after a whole afternoon of going through 47 pages on this topic I was looking at the sale on the DT Ebay site for a set of P265/70/17. I thought I was going to get a chance to review final price to confirm any tax charges, but it didn't and my paypal account was charged immediately...funny how that works!

Just this morning I was still set on Nitto G2's and between the weight difference and the proven lifespan I'm sure they're the smarter choice for me and my DD truck, but the Falkens look awesome and I'm not upset about my impulse purchase.

I have a new set of black FN FX Pro Wheels that I just picked up and are now waiting for the tires to come in.
