Decided to add some little LED lights to the side of my bumper. After I had a close call with some dude being really "surprised" that I was merging over into a lane near him, I figured something needed to be done about the lack of a side facing turn signal. I went with clear/amber sets since my front ARB lenses are clear also.

Easy enough to install, just eyeball where you want it and drill a couple of 1/8" holes for some #6 bolts and nylock nuts, then eyeball where the wires will go through (best to trace the outline of the light while it's somewhat mounted), drill a 1/8" pilot hole and then 3/8" hole for the wires and the paint or seal the bare metal.

Wiring it up was as simple as splicing it together with the existing turn signal wires.

If you live in the city and traffic is nuts and sometimes you have to merge over with a car one lane over, it's a good idea to have these.

    Nice job.

Moving the turn signals to the corners (which I did) also accomplishes this, but not quite as dramatically.

you also might try doing the 3/4" flush mount grommet LEDs, that way they wont get hit by items as easy, and if they to they just pop in.
