    Hi Kids,

I'm Jeff a 55 or newbe to this Form and a new Tacoma owner.

Small history, I grew up as a mechanic and was Licensed by the FAA the fix A&P in 1982, just when there where a lot of AP's looking for work.

I had a 99 Blazer for 200K then the Trans blew, also a 99 F150 that went 300K. The frame was getting so rusted I was ready for it to split itself so I had to trash it.

I built Carwashes in AZ for several years and ended up in IT in 1991.

So I know my way around an Internal combustion engine.

Being new to this form, it seems to be very helpful and friendly.

I'm finally asking a question today because I'm just too lazy to search what you Kids probably already know. And Yes I've been a Lurker for a month or so.

I need go and borrow a Log Splitter this weekend and know the 4 port flat plug will not fit well with the 6 prong circular connector on my '15 Taco.

Where do I search for an adapter?

You can get them at tractor supply, if you have one around. Lowes should also carry them. Pretty much any big box hardware store, and possibly auto parts stores.

I found one on Ebay for about $15, it converts a 7 prong round plug to a 4 and 5 wire flat plug.

Nothing to contribute other than you have a great name!

Edit: I lied, I saw them at autozone the other day.

Hauling a splitter really doesn't require a light unless you're getting a commercial one that is so big it has lights! I tow mine (28 ton, weighs 600#) behind mine without lights because it's narrower than the truck. I suggest putting a tall marker of some sort on the rear of the splitter when towing so you know where it is. I can't see mine when towing and want to know where the back is. :)

To answer your question, yes they make them as mentioned, but if you're renting from a dealer, they may provide one for no charge while you use it. I did that when I rented a wood chipper.
