$135 for a red start button?

For a button that is merely a different color than the one that is already there and working properly?

How much work was required for the removal of the PTS button? I remember reading a post from another member on here stating that they had removed a lot of the dash pieces. Looking at all the responses and previous threads it doesn't look like anyone has successfully wired up the led illuminated button as it has an 11pin connector. Would be very cool to see!

    I used this thread-
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/how-to-get-to-the-ect-bsm-parking-buttons.457930/

Took 60 seconds and a bit teeth nashing to take apart the dash of my $45k truck that I've had for 8 hours.

Simply pried the lower steering wheel dash (3rd picture), then on the left side of climate control delicately pulled the button/climate control cover off. You squeeze the top and bottom of the rear of the start button to slide it out.

The button above appears to use the 8 pin connector used in our trucks.

Thanks for the reply and the link to that thread! Hopefully you'll have that PTS button installed soon so we can all decide what to spend $$ on for the next mod

You must be new here. A VAST amount of money is spent on here for items which are not necessary/will never get use: Grilles, wheels, window tint, shift knobs, LED interior lights, armor (for many), and the list goes on... Hell if I want something and have the means to do so, you bet your sweet ass I'll have it
