So the 285/75/16 actually had plenty of body clearence. Only place we thought it may rub is on the upper control arm. But it had about a quarter inch of clearance. With the spacers (1.5) it had plenty of control arm clearence, but only about .5 inch or so from the plastic inner fender.
So which we would be the most likely to rub off road?
I' seriously contemplating running em without spacers if the control arm is less likely to rub that the inner fender.

Well surprisingly enough, Sams had the best price on Ko2's. Had a 70$ off instant rebate and mounted balanced for free. After the 15$ lifetime warranty and tire rotations I got outa there payin 800$.
    Was battling with 265 or 285 / 75r/16's.
They had the 265/75 in stock, so decision made. Really happy with the look. Can't wait to take a tape to it, looks like I got some decent gain for a slightly taller tire. IMG_3358.jpg

Same here dude. With the BFG's not being as wide as Nittos or others I was looking at, I wouldn't have had any issues clearing the without spacers.
Gonna have to get two tpms sensors replaced, but sams is going to cover the cost. They were really cool about it actually.

A few things made my choice overall.
    1: the avalbility/ price/ no worries off-road
2: my fiancé said that with the spacers and 285s made my truck looked like a, and I quote, 'rich white f**k boys truck'.
3: I am going towards a budget build, and the 285's were a solid $200+ More.

If they had had em though! :,( :,(

I de-badged for like 15 bucks. I got a heat gun and a little elbow grease. I got the tailgate decals(20 bucks) on the way so its a clean look. I changed the bulbs to a whiter bulb(10 bucks) but they arent bright enough and I have tried a few led ones(50-75bucks) and sent them back. I am going to try the h11-h9 conversion -
(30 bucks). Much brighter and I dont think Ill have to mess with them much after. I put the trd pro sema rims(775) and Ko2's (800) on as well as the trd skid plate(500) (although I dont really like it that much as it stands out too much, I might paint it or sell it). Tint(300) and paint protector(500) on the bumper and hood. I dipped the grille(6). Im building some brackets in the bed and thats like a few bucks and bought a few things like hi lift jack(60) and tow strap(30) for when I take it to the sand or camping. I think you can do any number or all of them over time and they are not gonna set you but too much. a lot of guys say what they did but not the actual cost so its hard to tell what you might wanna do first with a budget. hope that helps I also sold my old rims/tires for 900$$$ so that really helped offset the cost on some of this!

The front looks higher than the rear.. Lol or maybe it's just the slope of the drive way.. At any rate... I love the color of QS tan  can't wait to see what you do with the truck

Man I hate my driveway, it's crazy steep. I swear I can test a tires wet traction by turning on a hose and tellin someone to drive up it. My buddies tundra on Toyo MT's couldn't back up it trying to load a big aquarium. Even my JK on duratracs would slip on it. We'll see if the BFGs can pass the test!

Similar to what I am doing. Same tires but have a 1" wheel spacer. What front spacer did you use?
Any chance you can take a pic on a level surface?
    Looks great.

Man I looked for awhile to find less than 1.5 inch wheel spacers. They are from supreme suspension and are hub centric.
As for the level I'm not sure. Just took the tape to it again, and son of a gun the front is 3/10ths of an inch taller!

The shop said it was a 2inch level, but I have a feeling it was maybe a 2.5 or 3. (If I guess, either rough country or SS. They carry both)

Not too worried about it since I do plan on putting some sort of protection in the front and a winch. That should bring it where I want it.
Top photo is the front, second photo is the rear.

So I've done some armor digging. Looks like I've found what I want. Only down side is that it can't take a winch. Anyone know of something similar that could? IMG_3392.jpg

    Going simple for the rear.
