Fat... Free... Chocolate milk....? Wow. I'm sure it's got sugar added for flavor.

It might as well be white milk. I cannot taste a hint of chocolate. That's how bland it is. Next time I get lunch I'll take a pic of the nutrional information.

My dad was a gourmet chef. If I thought it was good it couldn't have been bad. I had delicious shit growing up eating at home. I remember people trying to trade desserts for that pizza. It was made by Tony's.

Are you sure that the kid wasn't being a jerk and that's what he got in return?

Makes sense that they're frozen Tony's. I remember super bowl days we would get actual pizza slices with round pepperonis, but those were "special" days apparently.

My favorite was the nachos on Wednesdays.

My son is 17 months old and this kind of thing scares me. We live in NC which is notorious for shitty public schools. I personally cannot comment on the lunches but that first picture is unacceptable. That is just barely a step up from a prison lunch.

Fun fact: sometimes I would trade my lunch on shit days to sit next to a girl I liked. Assigned seating sucked.

I think it wasn't until 4th or 5th grade when you could sit wherever, I don't know. After 4th I went to private school.

If you serve that in prison you would be looking at a law suit. I worked at a county jail for a short time. The inmates would complain about everything. It's sad that inmates are treated better than our military and fed better than our kids.

Prisoners are under the responsibility of government.

Kids are under the responsibility of parents.

If kids eat worse than prisoners, that's a parent issue.

Nope if the parents are on welfare or make very little money then the kids are entitled to breakfast and lunch at school. I send my son to school with a huge sandwich every day.
I agree with you that parents should be responsible for their children.
